I built this because it will give employers a real feel for my abilities much more than a piece of paper will. Let me know what you guys think. Anything I should change?

annoying colors. looks like haloween. i don't know what that orange stuff is supposed to be and that spinny orange thing with the bio on the front page is weird.

i don't know if you should include so much personal stuff on a resume either.

Your resume itself needs work You need to use some resume power words. And somehow shrink it to one page.

I think the color scheme is unique and flows very nicely. The animation on the first page for the Biography is really the only thing I could find that went well with the page and at the same time had a metaphoric meaning for Biography. I am not giving out a whole lot of personal information, just enough so that any employers will know that I am not some drone just looking for a job to make money.

I appreciate your input though I may be deviating a bit from the traditional white and blue corporate color scheme because I am trying to stand out. Employers see that stuff enough all day.

Well what you think and what the general public are not the same thing. As a resume it should stand out and things should not be implied. Employers are typically looking forward to things being straight and to the point when looking through resumes. In addition they want to be impressed not by amusement but by what you have to offer in terms of your capabilities and experiences.

I convey the skills and abilities that I have to offer a company in my experience section. If an employer wants a boring resume, they can find a link to one on the main page of the site.

Of course I am, but that's not the most important thing to me. I love doing web design. I am trying to get that point across.

It is not their job to look for it though, it is your job to provide it outright.

Yeah, I'd drop the bio, the annoying gif, the video and the colors. That stuff just makes it look unprofessional and makes it seem more like a personal site.
