Default Dog lovers help!

Gentlemen,

I have found TWO puppies on the street in the past week. The first was adopted by my best friend (yeah the one that puked everywhere, thia makes up for it ). The second needs a home. If you want or know someone needing a min pin as a family member please PM or answer here.

Here is a post I put up on another site with details:

Jen or anyone else interested thats qualified,

I was wondering if you still are looking for a pup. I have a min pin I found running the streets. He is in excellent shape and is potty trained. He is definitely under a year old and probably around 8 pounds. He is gorgeous (I can send pics) and LOVES human beings as well as other dogs (and cats!). I have three dogs already and actually really want to keep him but my chihuahua does not approve. I cant mess with that. My chihuahua is my best friend.

The qualified comment: Min Pins are extremely hyper. They are attention strumpets and need it all the time. They play constantly and it can get a little rough sometimes. While that may sound bad it is always on friendly terms. They just love to wrestle with your hands and they were bred to get rats so they tend to knaw on you a little when playing. The cool thing about this one is he has a sense of who he is rough housing with. If its me he goes all out and is pretty rough. With my Girlfriend he will barely bite when she tries to play. With my female mutt he was charmingly easier in the doggy games than he was with my male mutt. The chihuahua wanted to eat him because he was all over me all the time. He tolerates my chi even though he is very muscular and could man handle the chi or any of my dogs for that matter. This one in particular follows me where I go and patiently waits at my feet. If I am standing he will lean into my calf and sigh. He (like ALL Min Pins) will burrow into your covers at night so you need to be that kind of dog person. If you are on the couch expect snuggles. He is constantly looking to me for approval with loving and sincere eyes. I truly wish I could keep him. I really like this little guy.
Knowing all this, how hyper and high maintenance he is, that they tend to overeat so you have to moderate, you really need to know what you are getting into. If you know that this is for you, I want nothing for this dog but the knowledge that he is happy as a clam and well cared for. I would like the adopter to save my number in case it turned out you can not handle this dog so that I can find him another home.

His name is Ace. He is fixed. Someone clipped his ears and tail :???: His potty skills are flawless. He is a huge sweetheart with a giant soul, you can see it in his understanding little eyes.

If you are interested email me at opfindfamilyforsweetdog@yahoo.com

For the HANers: I called the tagged number on the pups collar to get ahold of the owner a number of times. He finally called back and said he didnt want the fucking dog anymore and to quit calling. This feg had dumped this baby in the middle of the City. He could have at least driven 12 miles to the SPCA. Im glad he had blocked his call as I was so upset I probably would have found and beat him senseless. I dont get it, the dog is so awesome. Im thinking that the dog was owned by a BF/GF relationship and when it ended Ace got the shit end of the stick. Im going to find him the right home.

My faith and general like of humans has been questionable for some time but this just sucks.

BTW: I am willing to have the little guy transported or deliver him if it was the right home for him

Unfortunately there isnt a lot you can do If there is a shred of truth to the philosophy of reaping what you sow or kharma, this guy has some tough times ahead.

Not at all. They are short and smooth coats. Very easy.

:bigok: good job saving the dog.

i'd take him if i could, but i can't handle the responsibility yet. im out of the house 9+ hours a day, and dogs like that need constant human interaction.

good luck finding qualified owners
