It's weird how states that don't even have pro teams do the best...LSU...Oregon State (previous two years at least).

for the top 10 teams with most appearances in CWS...only LSU and Oklahoma St don't have pro teams

Agreed, but there have been many successful states that don't:

Arkansas, Alabama, Clemson (South Carolina), Mississippi & Mississippi State, and a few others. Given the number of states that DO have baseball teams, I still think that's pretty cool.

That was a hell of a catch. I love watching college baseball. I wish they'd show the games leading up to the CWS. I'd definitely tune in. Get to see all of the up and comers before they make the bigs. That guy Posey from FSU is a stud.
