During my college days. I took the empty bottles and filled them up with sand from beaches I went to during my travels.
I would bring back some sand and pour them into whatever bottle and left it up on the cupboard for decoration.

maybe thats a better use for them?

neat idea...

a knew a guy from this town called Bisbee (big hippieish/artsy town) he made Xylophones out of them
