i bought a bookcase from target. it's black, so it matched nicely with the other stuff i already had, and it fit most of my dvds (about 300 i think).

If you don't want to build something yourself I know a buddy that had a good experience with this site:

free shipping and no sales tax either.

as a present last year, cuz my dvd's were all over the place, my roommate bought me a entertainment cabinet from ikea. it was a 3 piece unit that fits perfectly with the tv and what not. also i have added shelving and other nick nacks to it for cheap.

Oh well I suppose I should have updated yesterday but I was busy most the day around the house.

I came up with a solution with parts from HD and a little creative useage of space. Got it up and tested last night but tonight when I get home I need to paint it so it matches the rest of the room...though this is in debate right now and may just change a couple other things instead...we will see though.

Once I get it painted up I will take some pics. It's a really simple solution using the "floating shelves" of different sizes.

Which reminds me on the way home I need to pick up two more to finish it off.

I prefer my CDs/DVDs out of sight. It looks too cluttered otherwise.
