After having a very painful week (and year - so far) at work i have decided to take 2 vacation days and spend the rest of the weekend in Hong Kong. i am leaving this evening.

I have made reservations at the Peninsula.The big thing in my itenary is go visit Disneyland :nevets: I am looking to get some after market parts for my civic, and plan on visiting areas lke Hak po guy.

This is my first time going there, and i kinda feel there are people on here who are from/ know about that city a considerable amount.. Looking for information on what to check out and what not to miss. Clubs/ restraunts/movies

 

The fondest memories I have from Hong Kong was taking the ferry to Kowloon, then going to Toys R' Us to buy all their Dragonball Z cards. :hs:

Oh and Ocean Park!!! I hope that place is still around.

i am going along with another friend of mine, so we are splitting the room cost, but yea i didnt realize how expensive it was :happysad:. We got a Rolls to get us from the airport.

 

that hotel is pretty nice. i stayed there a while back, nice king size bed, remote window shades, tv next to the toilet, tv in the tub.

i dont suggest going to disney land. went there about 2 yrs ago and it was pretty weak. i would suggest just staying on hk island since most the "happening" things go on there. 2 days? where you flying from?

i never been back to the homeland but if i did it would be for 2 weeks

 

i will get there thursday morning, and i leave sunday afternoon. so technically going for 3 nights of heavy partying
