depends on how you want to back it up. if you're just putting it on dvd+/-r's, shrink could work. or whatever chuckie uses.

i'm starting the process of backing up all my dvd's to xvid on my computer. probably going to use AutoGK.

Do you have to compress the files? If so, does it look any different than the uncompressed version? I'm looking to keep everything the size they are for quality.

i'll be compressing the files. it's not quite dvd quality, but it's up there. i play them through my xbox, and there are some i have that you can't even tell if it's a dvd or not.
