well when i sold my hatch I gave the b18c motor to my brother and the guy who got the shell and the ls motor got in a bad wreck so i could care less for my old car.

Well, I have ~$13.5k to work with. I can't scratch anymore into that, because i'm transferring into a private university (Bradley University, Peoria Illinois) and funds will be looooow.

The z i found was 13.8, and i've found about 5 redlines in the 12k zone. Any other suggestions would be lovely. There aren't any rsx-s around me that are nice, and if they are they are out of my price range.

edit: and since i'm a po' college student, I kind of want something that's fun to drive out of the box. Without too much motor work needing to be done.

I'd be partial to a late model GSR (say 2000 or 2001)... but that probably goes without saying. h:
