pretty cool. but if you changed out one of those devices or added one, would it be a pain to re-wire?

i dont like wall mounted TV. It's either too high to be confortable or looks funny when it's mounted lower on the wall

Yeah.. ideally that wouldve been the way to go, but logistics didn't play out.

Thanks mang. Tha was also a reason to do it.. I mean, if you can mount it, why not right?

hehe.. actually, when I first mounted it, it was. But since I readjusted it, I was able to get it purrrfect.

All I'm saying is that the way its set up now looks weird. Like its hover off of where it was just sitting. Having the speakers mounted somewhere (or buying mountable speakers) would look better. Just constructive criticism.
I appreciate the criticism. I actaully am in the kitchen quite a bit and when I have lots of people over, there's always a good amount of people hanging around the kitchen counters. We've watched plenty of football from the kitchen.

Kitchen is like in the back right of the room.

Actually, it's pretty easy to run wires. At this point, I have all the inputs full.

3 hdmi
2 component
1 composite
1 optical
2 rca audio

If I need to run additional or change a cable, it would probably take no more than 5 minutes.

It's the articulating mount from monoprice. I made a thread about it a while back. It's a solid mount and feels sturdy enough for this tv. (sharp aquos 52") I was able to install it onto 2 studs with 6 lag bolts. It's not going anywhere.

On the stand it was slightly too low for the seating position. I had my sister and brother in law and friend come over last night to find the "ideal" viewing position. This works well for the height of the couches. The first install was WAYYYY too high. I got dizzy watching it.

Here's a before shot for reference. The speakers are behind the tv in this shot, but they usually were in front of the tv slightly blocking the screen edges (another reason why I wanted to get it in the air past the speakers.
