Yes, you are stupid. The flight attendant gave up her ACTUAL seat to sit in a jump seat. Then, once the flight got started, the flight attendant changed her mind and didn't want to sit in the jump seat anymore, and kicked the guy out of his regular seat.
i don't know that it makes a difference, but i read that he didn't actually pay for his flight.

My friends mom works as a flight attendant and we got one of those vouchers... you actually have to give your seat up to a paying customer, if they over book
h: regardless of when/how long you've had the seats reserved. You basically have to wait for an opening
