well this is in the country side. the trickle down effect hasnt affected them yet. there is still old communist buildings out there. ghetto's that look like burned down homes. rural china is interesting. we were on a main road and 1 car drove by every ten minutes.

World Trade Center = 2,726 deaths
Katrina = 4098
latest round of tornados = 25 deaths

as of 3pm EST in China = 8,533 deaths with the number rising as buildings are being worked on.

china = 1.3 billion
US = 300 million

.... you have to expect a mega disaster to take more lives in a area with a billion more people
