Default Dental Insurance Question..

I have insurance through my work and I am also covered under my fathers insurance while im in school....Does this mean that if my insurance doesnt cover everything, his will pick up the rest?

It did when I had dual coverage. Under my wife's policy from her job and mine under my job.

dental insurance isnt worth it to buy on your own, i know that.

I believe it's relative to the what his insurance is contracted to pick up. Double insurance isn't like overdraft protection, if you would. I'm sure the office manager in the office would be more than happy to see what they could bill your father's insurance.
