there is research being done about converting dream signals into a visual picture, not sure where they are on it but i remember hearing about it in some phl class in college

i imagine it would be along similar lines as that unless you want just the visual signal from the eyes, in which case its just on/off

i have a friend who was clinically dead for a few minutes, i asked him about the experience and he didnt have anything insightful to say, just went black, came back to life, not much to it

if you are looking for a "god came down" type answer then you would be relying on non physical powers, and thus the brain wouldnt work to record the data so it wouldnt ever work in theory even if god did exist

So, do you think it would be possible to ever see the last thing a dying person saw after they died?

i have no clue how they would even go about doing this, but if they could figure it out that would be crazy...

Even if it was for another 100 years or so, do you guys think its some how possible?
That was a scene in some movie...they play back the last few minutes of the person's life. Some other movie they had your whole life on file on a chip that was implanted at some young age. Then when you died they played it as a memorial.

As long as you're translating signals from one form to another without interference it's the same concept

what if the murderer didn't sign the consent form, and they hate to mosiac out his face. Makes it rather hard to I.D him.
