Oh dear god. This would have RUINED the movie.

Nicolas Cage and Tom Cruise were interested in playing Iron Man. Cruise in particular was going to act in and produce the film.

Eh, I bet Cruise could have pulled it off. As annoying as that guy is, he's a good actor and has done some pretty good roles.

I bet he could have pulled off the role too, but with the crap he pulled the movie would tank because people can't stand him.

just got back from watching it.
Fawking AWESOME!
Robert Downey Jr was hilarious, as usual. And there was just overall badassery all over the place....plus, and R8 :drool:

I always thought Paltrow was overrated. h:
