our Illinois (chicagoland) general manager missed our 10am meeting just now, she brainfarted and had it set for 10 central not 10 eastern

well i emailed her at like 9:55 askin if she was gonna join us or if she cant make it

anyways she emails me back and is like, if this happens again maybe you can just call me on my cell and remind me, i totally screwed up and put 10 central

i'd love to do that ... if i had your cell phone number

 

not really, but related to email..

the networking guys decided that faculty and staff should only be allowed 1GB of space for their email last week. i am getting tons and tons of calls from faculty who want to figure out how to archive all of their mail, because they want to be able to send mail again and they don't want to lose their old mail. on two occasions, these peopole had emails that dated back till 1999 :wtf:

do they really need to keep that shit?

BBQ. I'll start about 6am and will smoke a 5lb brisket for about 10 hours.
I'll be using Applewood with Hickory. I can't wait. a whole 10 hours of beer, cigars, and relaxation waiting for the meat to be done.

i'm just laughing with one of my bosses who knows i didn't do anything either.

she couldn't connect to outlook for some reason, it wasn't connecting to the exchange server, so i disconnected from the wireless and got back on it. still didn't work, so i was waiting for her to get a cable to try to plug it in, but i guess in that time it started to work again.
