While I've been focusing a lot on working, I am finally progressing towards an end to my college education. I've finally taken a step into finishing my B.A. by ennrolling at a 4yr. I will knock off a full semester this summer, if I can help it, so I will actually be done by next summer while working full time.
I am also going to look into getting my masters, but have been thinking of teaching at a high school while I do it.

I'm starting again in August to take BLET - Basic Law Enforcement Training. I'm going to be a Police Officer for 2 years, then try out for SRT - Special Response Team...kind of like SWAT

well i finished my bachelors in 2005 but if i go take like 3 econ classes, ill have a 2nd bachelors degree... that seems like a no brainer....
maybe my MBA someday, who knows.... and ive even thought about maybe going to law school but i dont know how serious those thoughts are.

I'm just saying, I've sort of was being a lazy ass on finishing school, while working full time. I've now started knocking off upper division courses towards my B.A. I am going to take a serious look at getting the teaching credential, so that I can go into that while earning my M.A. I still have another year of upper division courses to get my B.A.
I let a lot of family stuff interupt school, but now am finally at the point where I can easily balance work, family, and school. I've just thought a lot about wanting to get into a career and teaching still seems like the best direction for me. I'm keeping things wide open, though. I've thought about giving substitute teaching a shot once I finish the ole bachelors and also made a few contacts for marketing/web content editing
if....by some miracle....I publish a novel or sell a screenplay, then things will change

Like you, grifter, I'm done with my BA (well, actually BS in comp sci & math), but there's still classes I want to take. Korean, Japanese, Physics/relativity, physics/quantum mechanics, and I guess I'd like to thoroughly relearn E&M physics. I wouldn't mind taking some higher level math classes, but I could die and not regret missing out on those.
