i have a problem with the digital output for audio. I have hdmi from the ps3 to the TV and the digital optical cable from TV to receiver. I hea audio when I'm watching regular TV and when i put in a DVD in the PS3, but i do not get any audio when i put in COD4 or any other games, both disc and HDD games.
any suggestions?

Make sure your optical decoding matches what your a/v receiver can handle. I personally run Linear PCM
