Apparently this didn't happen if you were running it in progressive scan. It bugged me constantly.

I just don't understand how something like that couldn't be caught especially since they bumped the date back so many times.
It's not a glitch. The PS2 has an auto half-line render mode to perserve frame rates. You can see the screen-shake blockiness on a lot of games if they overtax the PS2's GPU in a certain way. So basically the graphics stutter so the game can continue at full speed.

GT5: P is freakin awesome though. I can't get enough of it

Well even if it isn't technically a glitch, it annoyed the piss out of me.

Even since the problem is caused by the PS2 being overtaxed and not the game, I don't see why they wouldn't have come up with a fix for it. I'd much rather have the frame rates drop than have the entire screen shake.

I've never seen the screen shake this bad on any other PS2 game.

Even despite this, I loved GT4 and spent many hours playing it.

In for gt5 prologue, spent the last 2 days playing it, sooo pretty. I think the motor sounds are better too.

The better get the car sounds right this time. That is what makes me the most mad about the GT series

why bother when you can just go out to get a laptop hard drive to put in and boost the harddrive space that way. I would think the extra money you save by getting the 40gb could be used to upgrade the hard drive.
