so i have both.. my PSP is hacked. Can i still use the remote play? If not remote play can i use my ps3 to play music stored on my PSP?

 

Not sure to the first one and Yes to the second one. I use my PSP to watch TV while im at work

I want to put music on the PS3 and use the PSP as a remote.

play PSP game on a the big screen vis PS3

I would want to be able to play back vid downloaded on me laptop on the PS3

play my music library from the laptop to my PS3

I know theres are ways of doing that i just can't find a easy to follow tutorial for these thing...

 

get a usb memory stick or an external hd, format it fat32
copy the vids/music onto it from your computer
plug it into the ps3
go to music/video on your ps3, select external hd/memory card from the top of the list
hit triangle, show all
copy them onto the ps3

as for psp games on the ps3, dont think it can do that

I wanted to play FFVII: Crisis Core through my PS3 but it asked for an update and I'm sure if I did that it would either reformat my PSP or brick it somehow.

It's Sony's version of SlingBox. I can watch my TV anywhere there's an internet connection and it also runs on a PSP.
