I lived and went to HS in Syracuse. Manlius, NY to be exact. Let me put it this way... in a decently large school... we had MAYBE 8 blacks kids in there... and half of those were bussed in from NYC on "A Better Chance" program.

It was... different.

When I went elementary school in Sacramento we had about 6 Asian kids in our schools and 15 or so later the school had over 100 "So they say" and a bunch of families pulled their kids out and had to go to schools in other district just so they didn't go there.
