well no....but that only becomes valid if the students know the teacher is armed. i know for a fact that 99% of the general population doesn't know i am armed when i carry mine

properly concealment would involve that nobody would know the teacher was armed, but i guarantee you that there would alot of grateful parents & students had there been a legally armed teacher or 2 at columbine or any other school where a student or students started a killing spree

i'm just sayin.....

there is no such thing as hiding something like that in a high school enviroment. If you think it is, than you are more out of touch with reality than Tom Cruise.

I've printed more times than I can count and probably flashed a few times and I've never had anyone notice. I'm sure you can agree that a printed handgun will, about 99.9% of the time, be assumed to be a cell phone or something of that nature.

in a high school it only takes that .1% to start the rumor mills, and then its ball game.

There are ways to carry that make it impossible for even a slight print to show. It's very possible to be 100% undetectable aside from a metal detector.

Thats why I carry a brick for just such an emergency.

No permit needed and it comes in any caliber you can imagine...even some you can't

But you arent sitting in a classroom with 30 sets of eyes on your for an hour at a time. Its different. And I would also agree that there would be a lot of grateful parents and students if the guys at Columbine wasnt able to get as far as they did. But what is on the line? Are the risks involved with having an armed staff worth the added protection of safety of something that rarely occurs?

I know some places are much more lax with firearms...GA and the rest of the South being one of those places. You guys are much more comfortable with them. But in urban cities, especially around youth...its not the same mentality.

Probably because you live in an area that has accepted the fact that people carries guns. If I ever print around here, you bet the police is going to be called. Different places man.
