Is Bud beer shunned or something?

That night, I was drinking Bud Heavy Bottles and I heard at LEAST 10 times 'wtf....youre drinking that??'

Of the rice beers, I prefer bud. it's quality low end beer with rice added with its fermentables in order to kill the beer aftertaste. They say it gives it a 'crisp' taste.

If you are drinking bottles, and unsure, go for michelob or something like that. Also a lighter lager.


My preference when out: Smithwicks, Guiness or Yuengling

For a novice beer drinker though, stella will have an afterbite that many won't like. It is definitely a step in the right direction after acquiring the taste for beer. Harp also falls in that area for me.
