toothpaste
only use the plain paste kind, not anything fancy, just the 99 cent variety
spread over the scratch, let it sit for a few seconds
wipe it off
DO NOT RUB
this is a wipe on wipe off type deal
do it a few times and it should clean up a bit
rubbing will score the window so be careful
try at your own risk
i did this to my rear window on a few very small scratches and it worked great, but it is risky and if you rub too hard it will scratch the shit out of the window
so start slow and be careful if you try it

Ok i'll give the toothpaste a shot when I get home and i'll post pics before I try it out. If it doesn't work for w/e reason then I was considering buying this:

http://www.janvil.net/item.asp?cID=0&PID=40

What do ya think? Removes up to .004 scratches without distortion.

$94.95?
fuck that
you can get a new passenger side window from a junk yard for way cheaper than that and just install it yourself

shit hit craigslist and find someone parting out a teg and give him $20 for the window and be done with it

this is a little old and wants $40 but just search for a few weeks

True true.....I guess i'll have to save a day to do that then. I was just looking for the easy way out since I work 2 jobs and i'm pretty busy most of the time. :hs: I'll try a few cheap things and if they don't work i'll just get a used window and find a day to put it in. Good looking out.

those kits work well if the glass never gets wet. any moisture will affect how well the repair will work. also it's not easy to use, best to just pay a glass shop $50 to get it done right.
