first impressions 2009 TSX
well we just took delivery of our first 2009 TSX and we all got a chance to play with it a bit.
exterior:
As you have all seen from the pictures it has a pretty funky front end on it. In person it looks alot better, and has a nice stance. It is considerably wider than the old TSX and is actually a bit bigger than the AV6 four door accord we parked it next too. Body lines are nice and the new gas door is a nice feature as well.
interior: The interior is about 100% improved with better comfort more rear leg room, and a better layout of the dash. My only qualm is the entire upper part of the dash is made out of some whacky styrofoam. You can push into it and bend it, but it looks like a black painted old style foam cup, yuck. The new weather feature on the navi is nice, and the voice command is much upgraded and doesn't ask you to repeat 10921834012 times.
driving experience: The engine is still underpowered for the car, but they at least moved the trq curve further from the redline and you can def feel it. They also beefed up the suspension and the body roll is next to non-existant with a pretty neutral feeling on the edge. The transmission shifts are crisp, but the new clutch pedal is insanely soft and something I am not a big fan of.
I haven't driven an auto yet, but I am sure it will be even less fun to drive but who knows maybe they made the autotragic a little better this time around.

It is bigger than the older accords, but doesn't feel that big when you drive it. It actually has a pretty nice stance and doesn't look so bland as the old TSX

I dunno how to send pics from my phone either. It's just a blue 09 TSX.
