1gb. Been thinking about 2gb but I'm not sure it would speed anything up.

1 in the laptop(I need to find a sale so I can bump up to 4)
2 in the desktop(I need to find a sale so I can bump it up to at least 4)
My desktop takes DDR and there are rarely decent sales. It blows.
