My parents have had vonage for close to 2 years and never had a problem :dunno:

yeah it has been on and off for two years... even when I'm not at home and using internets, it still fucks up (other person can't hear us, calls get cut off, etc). Even got a new box sent from vonage but it didn't help. Had the vonage box set to high flow, high priority, all of that...
So we back to ATT and it's a win win for everyone. Verizon is looking at $52 a month :chuckles:
and last we tried Comcast, they were talking about having to rewire shit and having a cable run along our floor...
edit: I also feel that Comcast has something to do with the vonage sucking, trying to get us to switch to their service :hsugh:
I don't have a landline.....theres not much that I wouldn't mind giving my cell# for b/c it doesn't seem like they always require a phone# for the things I'm signing up for...mostly just email addy. :dunno:
actually you just reminded me for some reason when I called a friend of mine yesterday and she didn't answer, I texted her a question and she answered immediately :doh2: I know several HANers that do that too :/
