Ok, depending on what you want, I see appeal in both.

1 - Much more yard, fenced in, and it is all usable. plus, it has a shed that will be vastly useful (lawnmower etc). Without that, you'll give up the garage. Slightly more SQFT. Negative - looks older.
2 - Much newer looking. Better curb appeal. Negatives - hill in front yard will be harder to maintain and you don't have a fence for kids / yard. A decent fence will run you several grand.

From the pictures, I think 2 looks nicer, but from personal experience, a LOT can be said from seeing houses first hand! For all we know, house 1 could be MUCH larger inside due to layout.....you really need to walk around inside and see what works for you

#2 has me sold with the porch. The lots sizes differ dramatically. If you'd like little maintenance then #2 might be the way to go with only a quarter-acre lot. #1's got almost a full acre, might be a bit of work but if you're planning for the long haul it might be better.

I wish a house like #2 was that cheap in my area...I'd probably pick it up for a price like that

lmao. I didn't even catch the price! You can barely get a mobile home for that down here!

Werd, I filter mine but just with a Brita pitcher. City water tastes like straight chlorine to me.

#2....more curb appeal and very neutral in deco (you could easily "make it your own")

Also looks newer which would imply less repairs/maintenance...:dunno:
