Setup:

Cable modem --> Linksys WRT54G router

Router is hardwired to my computer.

Loading webpages has been ridiculously slow for the past two days.

I have restarted my computer, power cycled the router and cable modem, and flushed the dns in ipconfig.

Anything else I should try?

 

Mine has been creeping too Time Warner.

 

maybe there is a router/switch/back bone issue in the area

It was fine until last night, and all of the sudden it's really slow. Some pages won't load period, some load slow, some aren't too bad.

Come to think of it, the last time this happened for more than 5 days, I called them and they reset me from station. Maybe give them a call and tell them what's happening.

Ok...so when I first start Firefox, things load a bit slower than normal, but not too bad. After a few page loads, it seems to slow way down, and stop loading. Ideas?

 

Did you call your ISP?
