Default Portland area gets major Rick Roll

So I was listening to CharlieFM which is one of those cross generation stations here playing all kinds of music. So they had a call in request show that is on Sundays called "Random Stream of Thought" and some guy called in and requested "Never Gonna Give You Up" on the basis that it was 20 years old this year and should get more play.

It's funny that it took me a second to realize what the guy had just done but his chuckle at the end of the phone call sealed his intentions

I was at Burger King on Sunday. I got rickrolled while eating my Big Fish.

It was pleasantly awful.

When I used to be a stocker for a grocery store (Albertsons), they used to play that stupid song like 4-5 times a night. It totally sucked!

This was before it was all over the internet.

some background:
It originated on the internet and took its name from an earlier phenomenon known as "duckrolling", in which someone would post a blind link to a page allegedly relevant to a discussion that upon viewing would prove to be a non sequitur - specifically, an image of a duck on wheels.
