how big is the balcony?
To go straight from the house and into it, you might need to actually build into the house ... kinda like they have in FL with the enclosed yards.
You might be able to find a small canopy for your balcony though. It'll have 4 legs and such.

That was my thought. Screened lanais are only a few hundred $ down here if you have the roof and concrete base. If you are handy, buy screen and wood and make one.
