after reading some of the commentary in that link i finally understand what the "i am legend" really means. i guess will smith was the bad guy after all

Well it's a lot better than the theatrical ending but it still isn't even close to as good as the books story...not even a shadow of the original story. Kinda sad because it had the potential to be an amazing film, instead they made a mediocre movie

yeah, but that's the version that they put out.. so... :dunno:

why continue to rewrite what was already put out there?

reminds me of star wars and lucas.

because they fucked up on the rewrite and changed the entire meaning of the story. If they were smart they would reshoot the entire movie closer to the actual books storyline.
