I used lag bolts into the studs at 6 locations. Sturdy enough for me to hang on.

Cut an acess panel and fish your cables. Pretty straight forward. Just make sure it's level.

 

I have to disagree with you on one thing Jay (please dont hit me)

Depending on his local electrical codes and stuff in his area, i believe it's illegal to run the power cord through the wall. Plus it's kinda dangerous and if anything was to happen i'm sure his insurance company might not want to pay out.

I suggest he looks into something called "The PowerBridge" for running wires through the wall.....That's just my 2 cents.

i got a sanus articulating mount for my plasma
got better lag bolts from the depot though. took some time, harder to level an articulating, but its pretty easy if you have some knowledge at all
