So I'm sitting here at work with a dead line by this afternoon with no motivation to work whatsoever, considering this project that's due keeps changing :/ The plans have changed twice within the hour that I've been here... WTF?

I'm stuck at a decision of quitting the dealership job or not. I'll be keeping the warehouse night job which is stable, consistent money and would bring in enough every month to pay the bills while I search to do something i'll enjoy doing as far as a job is concerned.

I have til this Wednesday to make the decision of staying or not. I'm quitting one of my jobs and i'm leaning toward quitting the dealer job for a few reasons:
-Not a stable position company wise (lots of changes & almost closed a few times)
-Not going to sell cars the rest of my life
-Not too happy here

Pros:
-Most of the guys are cool to work with
-Money is decent
-Benefits
-Parking garage
-Job is <20 mins away
-Hours aren't bad either

The real reason for the hesitation is the money. Being that since i've been working both jobs i've paid off a decent amount of my debt and by next month i'll have cleaned a CC down to $0. Between both jobs I make about ~$4k/mth most of the time a lil more and if I quit i'll be down to about ~$1400/mth. I also look at my time distributed and i'm always working/sleeping.....very little time for myself and see my gf maybe twice a week.

I'm confoozed.

I'm thinking of this as my plan.......
-Quit the dealer, keep night job
-Spend VERY little per month on "stuff" and use money only for bills monthly
-Continue to persue a LEO position or similiar job
-OR Pursue a job related to my degree
-Work on my Website

Yea i'll definately have the CC paid off this month......I have about $4.5k saved up already just haven't decided on what debt to use it on (school, car, CCs).

I'm at the point where I want to find "one" good paying job that i'll actually enjoy. Want to start the next part of my life (get a house, married, kids, scratch my balls on the couch while the wife cooks, you know. :chuckles Or maybe something will come out of my website in the future (wishful thinking). :dunno:

Maybe i'll just keep playing the lottery. h:

EDIT: Just looked it up to refresh what AS does, you should push for it :/ Solidworks/Inventor/AutoCAD based programs will just slow you down :/ AS is specifically designed for Hyrdaulic simulation, I don't know why you wouldn't go any other way if you have the program already...

EDIT again:
Do you guys have to follow a standard? ISO? ANSI?
Don't have the program, used it in college.

Right now i just need it for basic in house drawings of our press so not really gonna follow any standards. Thing has like a million pipes, mad confusing.

That's why then your company would rather see you bust your ass than spend the $$$ on the program :chuckles: Simple solution, half-ass it

No standards FTW h:

In. Had one hell of a weekend. Ended up meeting uprunning into two ex girlfriends on Friday and Sat night, one on accident and one intentional. The intentional hadnt changed...still hot, still a sloppy drunk and still an idiot (making out with me and shes engaged).

Surfed on Friday afternoon -- looking good. Moved Brian on Saturday and read majority of Sunday.

This week looks rad. 70's, decent surf and water temps, and its March.
