HOA Madness
I closed on my condo late last month. I have two HOAs to deal with. The Rancho Carrillo Master Association and the Serrano @ Rancho Carrillo subassociation. February dues were supposedly paid by the escrow company. This worked fine for the master association. But the subassociation sent me a letter saying I was delinquent on my account. Apparently, the check from escrow never made it, or was not recorded. Time for many phone calls... :run:

wow, I've been attending our meetings, and we've got a lady who lives in Hawaii, has no real phone number, owns her property outright and the whole place is stacked from floor to ceiling with moldy disgusting newspapers from 1992... and they still don't know how to deal with it.
