that's what i thought, but i already have 4 controllers.

great for someone who wants a controller for virtual console and GC games.

Gamecube games are the same price regardless and a lot of people see a system that is backwards compatible as the better deal since it plays the new games as well as the old games

So in the end the Wii really is the better value of the two
