i dont think that would solve the problem

his gripe is with usps, not the seller. obviously usps isn't going to work better from one seller than another.

To answer your question, yes, you should and can absolutely ask the seller to use another form of shipment. keep in mind though that you might have to pay them a few extra dollars to cover the added expense.

USPS is a freaking joke.

Here's a package that needed to go from 60044 to 60047

Delivered, February 20, 2008, 12:30 pm, LAKE ZURICH, IL 60047
Processed, February 19, 2008, 4:08 pm, CHICAGO, IL 60701
Processed, February 17, 2008, 6:38 pm, CHICAGO, IL 60701
Processed, February 16, 2008, 5:37 am, CHICAGO, IL 60701
Missent, February 15, 2008, 5:56 am
Processed, February 14, 2008, 10:02 pm, CHICAGO, IL 60701
Electronic Shipping Info Received, February 13, 2008
This package should have taken 1 day. It left on the 13th, went to Chicago (for some reason, 35 miles out of route), was mis-sent, re-sent to Chicago, then sat for 4 days "processing".

I'm 4 freaking towns over and it took 7 days for 1 tiny box to make it.

drew thats probably just where the processing warehouse is in that area ...

its common, if im at the parent and want to send something the next town over ... i drop it at the post office but that night it will go 30 miles the opposite direction to the process center before going on another truck 40 miles up to the other towns post office
