Neighbor in the apartments I used to live in had one that went off 4-5 times a night every night right under my window. So one night it went off and I just so happened to have a huge piece of concrete sitting next to the window that found it's way through his windshield.
Alarm never went off again and the other neighbors brought me cookies for a month
