Cajun Boiled Peanuts

I love these things. Got a few cans at the store, but Id much rather get the ones you can buy on the road side here in Florida.

Are they basically peanuts with cajun flavoring? What does the boiling do?

The boiling makes them soft. The cajun flavor kind of soaks into them, making them spicy and tastey!
