That's pretty bad for you guys not implementing new technology. I can understand the wireless thing in a sense...especially since they're not into the new stuff :rofl: What you really need for wireless in an enterprise is some kind of wireless control system.

I'm at LACCD...it encompasses all 9 colleges here in LA (i.e East, City, Harbor, Mission, etc.) I'm about 3-4 blocks away from Staple Center.
Most of the people here are pretty old and have been here for 20+ years...so they're stubborn about their tactics and kind of a afraid to venture out to new technology.
If all the big corporations are using wireless then it's because they've made it's secure enough. Arg...oh well

we didnt have wireless at my last company either cuz of SOX and we didnt have a secure enough solution at the time. we could have, but just didnt have the time to implement it.
i have wireless at my current company, but if i say so myself, it's not that secure :hs:
