Default Just had a stupid blow out

Yeah, driving to my in-laws on I78 going west the RR tire suddenly just went flat. I was in the left lane doing about 60 when this happend.

I took off the tire and on the inside tire wall its shreddedl. Like someone took a knife and just in a semi-circle. Ill take pic's in the morning but, im pissed casue I have a donut on and have to drive like 60 miles back home on monday.
Tires are Sumitomo HTR 225-40-18
Lets see if pep boyz, sears or whatever else is out here may have a tire like that.

Does Pep boyz sell a generic rim for my car and I can just purchase a basic tire for it?

I've had blowouts with all brands of tires, hit a pothole at about 80-85 when we had on of the GSR's couldn't tell I had a flat at first...then the noise clued me in. Those were Michelins. Sucks driving around on the donut...even if it's only a day.

they do but they'd have to order it.
Since im 60+ miles from my house Im not comfortable driving with the donut on.

and to think tomorrow I was going to buy 4 all season tires for my O.E rims.

I spoke with my brother who told me he also had a couple of blow outs on his S4. He has sumitomo tires, same model too.

Sumitomo = FTL
