Yup. But I doubt it will be released 2009. Maybe '10 or '11, judging on how Vista was released late.

well, in my job, it's all about getting things fixed fast & move on to the next customer & i just don't have the patience to go looking for a setting or whatever that should be in x location, but because of all the security shit built-in, it is buried way down in some other place. then when i do find what i need to change, the OS asks me "if i'm sure i want to allow this change"....GDamnit i selected it didn't i?!?!?!?!

biggest problem i've had is when the ethernet or wireless has gone from "local & internet" to "local only" for what ever reason....trying to get around all the built-in security & whatever to get it to go back to "local & internet" so it will surf the web....makes me wanna pull my hair out some times

i've been using it for a bit now and i like it and have no real problems with it. yes at first i needed to find out where some stuff is, but i had to do the same thing moving from 3.1 to win95!

i'm a real security buff and i actually like the vista security. and if you dont like it, you can disable it.. yeah it can get annoying at times when you're in a hurry, but overall it's a good function.

yep same here. i've been using vista for about 5months now and i see no problem with it at all. it's much more stable than xp in every way.

i love vista, very stable and user friendly.

and with enough ram, no speed issues... i also did a clean up thing that i found on CNET to trim some unnecessary fat.... and that helped big time.

vista ftw.
