Default Another Valentine's Day thread, what to cook for the lady?

I can't cook for shit and never really cook for my wifey. I was wondering what is a simple yet exquisite meal I can cook for V-day?

pasta dishes are generally really really easy and can be made up quite nice

even a liguini with a white sauce and chicken breast with a good wine can be top notch

exquisite doesnt always have to mean over the top fancy, sometimes simple is just as tasteful

lobster tail, and a small cut of thick steak.

The steak shouldn't be any bigger than a hockey puck.

This is a really good tuna casserole that isn't hard to make. Not really exquisite though. h:

seafood is easy to screw up ...

Phat, its sometimes less about what you cook and more about how you present it.

poor presentation can make the best dish look bad. i vote for keep it simple but present it well.

Like they said seafood is hard to cook if you don't know what your doing. Nothing is worse then over cooked seafood.
Start w/ a pear and goat cheese salad
then some sort of meat like pork chops w/ a apricot glaze or a pasta dish
then of-course some sort of chocolate dish for dessert.
