my gift for the valentines day challenged
i have a simple thing for you to MAKE for your girl & you will get major points for it because (1) you made it & (2) it is hella good
if you have none of the following, figure $20-$25 for supplies
...you'll also need wax paper
you will need a medium-sized pot to mix/heat the following ingredients in....i use one that is 9" round & 4" tall to give you an idea of the size needed
Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
2 cups sugar
1/3 cup hersey's cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 1/4 cups oats
1/3 cup peanut butter
mix the sugar, cocoa & milk together & stir till you get a good cosistency.
place on medium heat & add the margarine. stir well till the margarine is fully melted. let it rapid boil for 1 minute.
remove from heat. add vanilla & peanut butter & stir until fully melted.
while stirring, add the oats a little at a time until all are chocolate covered.
using a tablespoon, spoon out on wax paper & allow to cool.
be advised, that the bigger you make them, the longer they will take to cool, depending on how big you spoon them out, that should make somewhere in the neighborhood of 25-30.
later, you can bask in your glory :rick: :yumyum:
btw....you're welcome :wavey:
