If you decide to build a CNC, I will cut all the parts for you

I have to say we have been blessed with our workshop, we have top notch stuff.

I just need a house to work on first...here in MI I can get a semi-stripped house for dirt cheap in a pretty nice area, that's probably what I'll end up doing. Like flipping my own home h:

That is actually super smart. Stay in it for more than two years for the tax benefit, and sell for a huge profit.

I want to do that, just don't have the time right now. I am sort of doing it with my house, but it was not stripped when I started.

I don't want to sell it, just buy super cheap in a good area and then improve continuously one room at a time to make sure that I never have "negative equity" on it. I don't quite have the liquidity to flip houses that aren't mine yet h:

I appreciate it. I will most likely have to do that, I am wiring illiterate sometimes...

Update !!!!

So I ordered my controller kit from here

http://www.hobbycnc.com/hcncpropkg.php

I ordered the 4 axis 305 oz package with their recommended case and transformer.

I also ordered the MDF and HDPE parts for the CNC.

This is where I want to be in a few months:

Now comes all of the aluminum and metal, which is going to run around $1500.

I hat that 80/20 shit. A lot of other engineers alwys use it but im not sure why, you still have drill and tap holes if you want a solid connection. If i am making some kind of frame like that I just buy rectangular tubing, its cheaper and ends up looking a lot better in the end

I am sure there is a reason that the guy went with it, everything on this machine is so thought out, I cannot imagine him doing it for no reason.
