First to the guys with gf's. Let's just say the girl you are with is the one; if you were to propose to your gf. What way would you do it realistically?

To guys that upgraded to wives, how did you propose to your lady?

No i'm not thinking about marriage. After reading about the chick who died about marriage. I looked it up which lead me to stories about wedding proposals and such forth and was wondering what you guys did or would do.

I have a few ideas, but i don't think they would fly over well with her. So i have to rethink it.

Proposed on valentines day. Got all dressed up on my lunch break, came home after work, proposed when we were supposed to exchange gifts. Then took her to dinner and to see a ballet that she wanted to see.
