Default New Girlfriend (no pics) V.question?

So we just started goin out this week, everything is cool.....But yesterday I call her to say hi, she doesn't pick up.....Then 10 minutes later calls me back, I ask what she's doin...

Me - "Hey, what are you doin"
Her - "I'm out having some drinks"
Me - "Oh, by yourself?"
Her - "No, with my friend from MI, the one I haven't seen in 4 months"
Me - "The guy you used to hang out with"
Her - "Yeah"
Me - "Alright im gonna let you go"

So after gettin the low down on the situation...The dude calls her in the day asking her out to dinner, she says, "Drinks would be better"...and tells the guy its not a date..then she precedes to tell me he was hitting on her during the whole time, but she kept turning him down and explained that she was spoken for...

I'm kind of upset about the situation, and don't want to over react...but I just met her and I don't know if I can trust somebody that does this.....

Another similar situation happened before we started dating, when I took her out to the club, I explained at that time that what she did was rude, dropped her off at home, left, then she called me back crying, wanting me to come over...

I don't know how to take this? Am I over reacting?

Yes, you are over reacting. If this is a behavior that is pretty common with her, then I would raise a red flag, but this seems pretty harmless.

Probably just tough because the relationship is so new and there's no trust established yet.

I would be pissed as well and tell her she can have drinks with you instead.
