New Job - Data Entry
F22B and Drac, you guys use the keyboard alot more instead? All I have to do, is take the package, put it on the scale, scan the barcode, and if I get a green light, put it in a mail bag. It's all set up so I can do really swiftly from right to left. The only time I have to physically type something is if the scanner cant read the barcode.
I have to type order numbers, and then skid up the packages...then when they get done delivering, I put in signatures, then post the undelivereds on the staples website so the customer knows why they didnt get their shit
There's a reason it pays more than minimum wage. Employee turnover is so high on such a mind numbingly dull job that they have to pay a little more to keep peole from quitting immediately after getting hired.
I had a summer job in 2002 at a pharmaceutical equipment plant. Try doing 8 hours of putting 1.5mm OD tubing onto a 1mm thick metal wire, then cut it, and pull it through a stretcher...hands soaking in mineral spirits all day. That sucks!
??
Well, depends on if my friend gets back with his old company sooner than planned. If he goes back with them now I can get my CDL and run with him even though I'm under 21. We were planning on waiting, but the local company he is running for now sucks.
