not really considering they are going to switch up the engine sometime this year and the 3.0 will become 3.0 turbo. the price wont go up too much.

also there is a reason why the x3 exists h: for people like you who can't afford the x5 :rick:

that and the $60K is a very very well optioned X5. not a stripped car at all.

my friend just got an 08 GL450 fully loaded... for $64k. the GL450 is so much more "car" than the X5 is given the same exact price. although i still like the X5 styling and driving better, the GL is in a higher class than the X5 imo... especially the X5 3.0. i love the X5... i love everything about it, but just cant justify the price tag on that sucker. its like the 335i convertible... fucking amazing car... but its not a $56k car. it sucks cuz im really liking all the new BMW models coming out, but theyre getting too damn overpriced for what they are imo :hs:

 

want: Z or maybe a new bike... but ive kinda grown out of impulse buys and unneccesaries.

i did buy a new rifle ... probably didnt need it, definitely wanted it... but dont regret buying it.

 

it is true, the GL is a bigger car than the X5. but x5 is for people who do not want to give up handling performance while still driving a truck. you don't have to convince me on the convertibles, i never liked them and never will. IMO convertibles are terrible, over priced and handles are limp noodle. if you don't want/need the handling aspect, MB/Audi are much cheaper. they are also much much bigger companies so they can make certain vehicles cheaper than bmw.
