Default car lease

real quick. parents are considering leasing a car right now. basically a cheap lease for an suv. we basically are set on a '08 Honda Pilot SE 4WD for $249 per month. i think it's pretty nice. what are your thoughts? good car to lease for a couple of months?

3 years, why not. the price seems to be good. 250/month on a 30k car is a fantastic deal. the manufacturer must be subsidizing the hell out of that lease.

Read the lease, at the end you will have to have money for excess mileage, and any incident that Honda Finance/dealer say is over a $500 repair, but they do give you $1500 in small stuff at the end of the lease, but that does not count any repair over $500, or excess mileage.

That's paying 499 a month for 36 months if you don't put anything down. Put the 9000 into something to collect interest for 36 months, and pay the 499 a month.

we upped the mileage per year from 12k to 15k so that made the monthly payments go up. we made a down payment of around... 4.6k and the monthly is $275 or so. i'll post up pics if you want, but it's basically just a silver pilot. and it's raining so i'll do it tomorrow or so.
