this thing is actually quite interesting, and does more than i expected, but it is a bit overthought, maybe even a bit pretentious in execution, and more expensive than it should be, given what you get versus a fully-functioning laptop for just a hundred or two more. it may work in Africa, but i expect it to fail here...
